My name is JoAnne Rountree and I am the owner of The Learning Place at Lost Pines and a grandmother of 10. I recently retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs after 34 years.
You might ask, why childcare? The answer is simple, I have a passion for children. As I approached retirement, my family personally realized the need for a quality childcare facility in our growing community when my youngest toddler granddaughter ended up on a childcare waiting list for several months.
I look forward to providing a quality childcare focused on love, trust, and safety to the families of Bastrop.
